How much does it cost to build a web application in India?
Cost depends on complexity and features. A marketing website starts at ₹30,000–₹1,50,000. A web application (SaaS, business app) typically costs ₹2,00,000–₹10,00,000. E-commerce stores range from ₹75,000 to ₹3,00,000. We provide detailed estimates after a free discovery call - no guessing.
How long does it take to build a custom software project?
A marketing website takes 2–4 weeks. A web application or mobile app takes 8–20 weeks depending on feature scope. Custom enterprise software can take 3–6 months. We provide a detailed timeline with milestones before the project starts.
What technologies do you specialise in?
We specialise in React and Next.js for web, React Native and Flutter for mobile, Node.js and Python for backend, and PostgreSQL and MongoDB for databases. We use AWS, Vercel, and Google Cloud for deployment. Our full stack covers everything from design to DevOps.
Do you work with startups or only established businesses?
We work with both. Many of our clients are early-stage startups building their first product, alongside established businesses digitising their operations. We offer milestone-based contracts that make it easier for startups to manage cash flow.
How do I start a project with Devarenalabs?
Fill out our contact form or email us at contact@devarenalabs.com. We'll schedule a free 30-minute discovery call to understand your requirements. After that, we provide a detailed proposal with scope, timeline, and pricing within 2–3 business days.
Do you sign NDAs before discussing project details?
Yes, absolutely. We are happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before any detailed project discussion. Protecting your idea and business information is something we take seriously.
Do you offer fixed-price contracts or time-and-materials?
We offer both. Fixed-price works best when your scope is clearly defined upfront - you know exactly what you'll pay. Time-and-materials is better for complex or evolving projects. We also offer milestone-based contracts where you pay after each phase is delivered and approved.
What is your development process?
We follow a 6-step process: Discovery & Planning → Design & Prototyping → Development (in agile sprints) → Testing & QA → Deployment & Launch → Ongoing Support. You get regular demos and progress updates throughout the project.
Do you provide support and maintenance after the project is delivered?
Yes. Every project includes a support period after launch (typically 1–3 months). We also offer ongoing maintenance contracts for bug fixes, performance monitoring, and feature updates. We don't disappear after delivery.
Can you work with our existing codebase or systems?
Yes. We regularly work with existing codebases - whether it's adding features to an existing application, migrating a legacy system, or integrating with third-party APIs and services. We'll review your codebase first and provide an honest assessment.
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes. While we are based in Dehradun, India, we work with clients across the UK, US, Europe, and the Middle East. We use Slack, Zoom, and Jira for communication and are comfortable working across time zones.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfers (NEFT/IMPS for Indian clients), international wire transfers, and PayPal for international clients. We work on a milestone-based payment schedule - you pay at the start and after each major delivery.
Will I own the code after the project is complete?
Yes. You own 100% of the code, designs, and intellectual property we create for you. We do not retain any rights to your product. Full source code is transferred to your repository upon final payment.
Do you offer hosting and deployment services?
Yes. We handle deployment to your preferred cloud provider - AWS, Google Cloud, Vercel, or Digital Ocean. We can also set up CI/CD pipelines, SSL certificates, and monitoring. Hosting costs are separate and billed at cost.
